About
Sydney Wagman
Pursuing Master of Social Work at Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work
As a Master of Social Work student, I am passionate about working with children, teens, and young adults as they navigate emotional challenges, identity exploration, and personal growth.
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel understood and empowered to make meaningful change.
I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a belief in the transformative power of connection. Drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Play and Art Therapy techniques, I tailor each session to your unique needs. My background includes several years of experience supporting neurodivergent youth and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which has shaped my strengths-based and trauma-informed lens.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation, or self-esteem, I’m here to support you in discovering your strengths and moving toward a more fulfilling life.
